The festival season is right around the corner, and so are the e-commerce sales. The Flipkart and Amazon sales are starting in a few days and to build anticipation and hype surrounding the same, the platforms are teasing the deals to attract customers. However, Flipkart is doing more than just teasing by promoting unrealistic deals that are not just on any products but Apple iPhones. Here are the complete details.
Flipkart iPhone 13 deal at Rs 11
Going into details, Flipkart has been promoting limited-time hourly deals in a move to build anticipation for its Big Billion Days sale. As a part of that, a banner went live on September 22nd, where it promised to offer iPhone 13 at Rs 11 exactly at 11 PM IST. Naturally, this gained a lot of traction online among deal pages, regular users and everyone. Optimistic about the deals, many Flipkart customers eagerly waited for the sale at 11 PM.
As promised the iPhone 13 deal went live at Rs 11. However, the ‘buy now’ button was not clickable for many, as claimed on social media, and there was an error message that kept popping up for everyone. The product went out of stock within a matter of minutes, or rather seconds.
This sort of promotion of deals and then putting it out of stock in no time is not a first. Recently, Flipkart was slammed after cancelling Moto G85 orders after offering a whopping 99 percent discount. Like always this led to widespread disappointment among many who patiently waited late at night for the deal.
